Priority zero
The pairing is the plot
Before atmosphere, before texture, before anything: the brand's one selling point is coordinated outfits on a family that's going somewhere. Every capture session banks at least one pairing frame. If a week's footage has beautiful water and no coordination, the week failed.
Lane 1 · Your phones
The capture lists (one 60–90 min weekend session banks a week of content)
Shoot 4K, phone level or slow pan — never whip. Morning or golden hour only; midday flat light is the enemy. Ten seconds minimum per clip. Everything gets the house grade in Lightroom mobile afterward.
The Home & The Pack (shootable this week, no trip required)
The Going (bank on any drive/errand; airport versions on the next real trip)
The There (hotel, pool, restaurant, anywhere that reads "trip" — bank hard on every real trip)
Texture & seasons bank
Lane 2 · AI & stock
The tangential-world lane (atmosphere only — strict rules)
The three absolutes. (1) Never AI-generate the product — art-direction law; AI may extend environments only. (2) Never AI-generate people presented as real — no synthetic families, no fake trips; the customer reads r/blogsnark and synthetic-mom content is exactly what gets a brand flayed there. (3) AI and stock play atmosphere, not autobiography — a Ligurian coastline clip can score a Reel about planning season; it must never be captioned as "our trip."
AI recipes (extends the six city recipes in the art-direction doc — same grammar: place, light, texture; no people, no product)
Generate at 4:5 and 9:16. Grade to the house preset after generation so AI frames sit inside the brand palette rather than beside it. Keep an internal log of which published assets are AI (a column in the capture log below) — if a press question ever comes, the answer is one lookup, not an audit.
Stock lane (Adobe Stock — I can search + license via the connected Adobe tools when you shortlist)
Filter: photos/video shot on or graded like film, muted palette, no logos, no visible faces (licensing simplicity + brand consistency). Skip anything that looks like stock — if it has that gloss, the ICP sees it instantly.
The filter
Five questions before anything is posted
- Palette: does it live in rust / ecru / sage / soft navy / butter / terracotta / sea-glass (+ Brunswick green)? One off-palette frame breaks a grid.
- Light: morning or golden. Midday-flat or flash-lit → delete.
- Texture: is something tactile in frame (linen, stone, straw, water, skin)? Flat graphic surfaces read as ads.
- Motion: slow or still. If the camera hurries, the brand looks like it's trying (pain #1 applies to us too).
- The Sézane test: could this frame sit in a Sézane or Jacquemus story without flinching? If unsure, it can't.
Organization
The weekly loop, mechanically: one weekend capture session off these lists (60–90 min, both phones) → grade the keepers in Lightroom mobile (house preset) → drop into the bank folders → the week's calendar posts assemble from the bank in minutes instead of starting from zero. The bank compounds; by launch week you'll cut Reels from a library, not a scramble.
