Hotel Co-Marketing Shortlist

The properties to pitch, split by our actual relationship to them — four we've stayed at with the girls (warm openers), four within driving/shooting distance (strategic). Deal structures per the Petite Plume × luxury-hotel precedent in the strategy research. Created July 8, 2026.

How this plugs in. Executes the hotel-partnership lane of BUSINESS_STRATEGY.html §4 (ranked there as the highest-fit partnership type: Petite Plume built its retail presence through Ritz-Carlton-tier amenity programs). Timing: these are post-launch conversations (Oct–Nov), pitched with real packshots and the live store — except the two Michigan/near-domestic ones, which double as shoot venues sooner (see the 4-day trips doc). Related creator venue: @tinytravelship (already on the seeding list).

The warm openers (the pitch opens with a true sentence: "we stayed with you")

PropertyRelationshipThe angleAsk
Martinhal Lisbon ChiadoStayed 2025, three girls; genuinely loved (kids' club, family suites)Best-fit partner on the list. Martinhal is a family-luxe brand (multiple properties) whose entire premise matches ours: family without aesthetic surrender. Their guest is our ICP on vacation.Welcome-amenity pilot: kids' sunglasses + hat in-suite for premium family bookings, co-branded card. Feature them in the Lisbon guide (done — leverage it).
Hotel Belvedere, BellagioStayed Sept 2025 (the Olmetex trip); family-run, pool, terraceComo is the brand's spiritual home — the fabric is milled on the lake. A Bellagio partner property makes the "Milled in Como" story physical.Amenity pilot + a photo/content trade on the next Como trip (their terrace in our journal + imagery rights for them).
One Aldwych, LondonStayed 2022 (first-baby trip); featured warmly in the London guideDesign-luxe with genuine baby grace — matches the "hotels that have met a toddler" content series.Soft: send the guide when published + a gift box; relationship seed, not a deal ask.
Hôtel Elysia, ParisStayed 2022; featured in the Paris guideBoutique 8th-arrondissement calm — the "stay somewhere boring, live somewhere beautiful" recommendation.Same soft treatment as One Aldwych.

The prospects (from the 4-day-trips research — each doubles as a content trip)

PropertyWhySequence
Hôtel William Gray, Old MontréalDesign-boutique on cobblestones — "old Europe" content 90 minutes from DTW; exactly the property type that says yes to family welcome-amenity pilotsBook the content trip → pitch the amenity deal in person during the stay
Auberge Saint-Antoine, Québec CityRelais & Châteaux, walled-city backdrop — the strongest European-feel shoot venue in driving-flight rangeSame play as William Gray; pick one of the two for fall
Inn at Bay Harbor, PetoskeyMichigan's "Riviera" — local-brand synergy (Detroit brand × northern-Michigan resort), lowest-cost pilot possibleEasiest first yes; a Michigan-brand amenity story writes itself
Shinola Hotel, DetroitThe hometown design hotel; Detroit-brand kinship (they built a national brand from Detroit manufacturing credibility — the exact playbook)Relationship first: gift boxes to the GM with the founder story; retail/amenity conversation post-launch
The mechanics

Deal structures, smallest first

StructureHow it worksCost to us
1 · Welcome amenity pilotHotel gifts kids' sunglasses (+hat at the premium tier) to family suites; co-branded card with QR to the city's trip guide. Hotel buys at wholesale or we seed the first 25 free for the pilot.$13–32/room landed; the card captures emails
2 · Content tradeWe shoot editorial at the property on a real stay; they get usage rights, we get the location + a journal feature. No money moves.A stay we'd take anyway
3 · Guide placement"Where we stayed" in the city guide + pin sets → their bookings; they push the guide to their family-segment list.Zero — already written
4 · Retail cornerBoutique/lobby retail at keystone wholesale — only post-launch, only after amenity pilot proves pull, and only where margin math survives (see strategy doc's wholesale caution).50% margin concession — not before 2027

Subject: We stayed with you — and put you in our travel guide

Hi ⟨name / GM / marketing lead⟩ — I'm Haley McCormick, co-founder of Iverywhere, a family travelwear brand launching September 1 (coordinating pieces for parents + kids, fabric milled in Como). Before it was a brand it was our family's packing habit — and one of the trips that shaped it was our stay at ⟨property⟩ in ⟨year⟩ with our three girls. ⟨One true, specific line: the kids' club / the terrace breakfasts / the stroller grace.⟩

Two small ideas: we've just published a ⟨city⟩ family guide that features you (attached) — happy for you to share it. And we're piloting a welcome amenity with a few properties whose families match ours: our kids' sunglasses and sun hat, in-suite for family bookings, with a card guests actually keep. First pilot batch is on us.

Either way — thank you for a stay we still talk about. — Haley & Trevor, Iverywhere
Sequencing: nothing sends before launch (the pitch is 10× stronger with a live store + real packshots). October: Martinhal + Belvedere (warm, on-thesis). November: Bay Harbor + Shinola (domestic, holiday timing). The Montréal/Québec pitch rides whichever content trip gets booked. Track responses in a row here or tell me and I'll maintain it.
